| What is Barista Coffee? |
|
| |
|
| |
Barista Coffee was found in 1997. The company is currently
running 34 stores and a roasting plant with 2 roasters namely
Probat L 25(each batch 25 kilo) and Probat G 120(each batch
120 kilo). Barista Coffee is considered a major competitor to
Starbucks Coffee in Taiwan. The brand name “Barista” is derived
from Italian, which means “bartender for coffee” in English.
The rationale to adopt the name “Barista Coffee” is to convey
our respect and spirit of pursuing the goal to provide our customers
with a perfect cup of COFFEE. |

| |
Though we are a small company without deep pocket, we are
willing to take the risk in investing superior beans because
of our passion for coffee. Our passion and determination in
providing superior quality of coffee to our customers have made
us unique and competitive in the Taiwan coffee market. The prices
of Barista Coffee’s Espresso drinks are higher than Starbucks’
by 40 cents on average. Despite the higher price level that
our company serves, customers did not resist our products. Instead,
the high-price of our products has successfully differentiated
our company from others in the market. Most students and youngsters
made Starbucks the choice for their coffees, but white collars
and professionals preferred Barista Coffee for its stronger
and tastier flavor. Over the past four years, Barista Coffee
has roasted more than five hundred tons of coffee just to quench
the Taiwanese thirst for specialty coffee. |

OUR PRODUCT |
| |
Four Reasons to Make Barista Coffee the Best |
| |
| 1. |
Specialty
Arabica Only: There are only about 7%
of the Arabicas (good-quality beans) that can be classified
as “Specialty”. Barista Coffee insists to roast the Arabica
that is categorized as SPECIALTY only. Therefore, any
Robusta (low-quality) beans are guaranteed not found in
our plant. We enjoy presenting various coffee beans the
best quality range from Kenya Mechana AA to superb Indonesian
Arabica with to our customers. |
| 2. |
Roasting Skill:
Most Taiwanese like to have their coffees with strong
but not bitter and acidic flavor. In order to serve the
needs of the Taiwanese, we concentrate on our roasting
skills and inventing new formula to bring out the flavor
and the freshness of the beans. Because of our extensive
investment in the beans roasting process, the results
of our quality-coffee has made us popular and has increased
the Taiwanese appreciation for coffee. |
| 3. |
Exquisite Blend: Our
unique coffee blend are invented and roasted by our skillful
roast master. Our House Special Coffee is made from Arabica
beans sourced from the best 11 estates around the world.
|
| 4. |
The Freshness: Known
for our uncompromised quality for beans. The Barista Coffee
Beans are peerless in freshness. We roast our own beans
everyday to provide our chain stores with the freshest
coffee in Taiwan to maintain the highest level of quality. |
